Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students will use these recorders in order to participate in the R.A.M.P (Recorder Arts for Musical Pathways) field trip that is in my schools curriculum. Recorder is a necessary part of a music education since it trains students in reading notes and rhythms. It also helps students learn breath control, articulation and allows them to play with their peers in a group setting. This experience is enriching to the mind, body and spirit. Without recorder students will be un-prepared for the next years in there musical journey. Soon they are asked to learn band instruments, piano, or to sing. With the recorders you have given to my talented students this is all possible.
