My Students
My classroom is a 5th grade consisting of boys and girls that are 9-11 yrs old. My students come from economically disadvantaged homes in the inner city of the largest urban school district in the state. The school is over 100 years old! The school is located in a crime-infested area with homes that are in shambles, vacant lots filled with trash, and remains of burned out structures. The students, with the help of their parents, somehow rise above it all and come to school daily, eager to learn something new.
My students are full of energy and very loving.
They want to learn. They know they are in a safe environment with people who have their best interest at heart.
My Project
Teaching class without a quality printer is very hard. It's like a dentist trying to clean your teeth and not having the proper tools.
My students need to be able to print out their work.
With a printer and toner, they will be able to complete assignments in a timely manner. My printer is old and outdated and jams every time we try to use it. A new printer will allow my students to use their creativity.
My students are deserve to have access to quality technology that will benefit them in their educational achievement. Please help them to be the best they can be.
