My Project

Rainy and snowy days keep us cooped up inside at recess time with little to do. First graders are used to running around and playing together outside when it is time to take a break from the academics. But when it is too rainy or cold to go outside, what do they do?

Cooperative learning games and activities help students learn the important social skills needed in and outside of school.

My students need board games and other tactile activities such as Legos and Play Doh to keep them engaged with each other socially and help develop their cooperative skills on the rainy and snowy indoor recess days.
