Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Learning centers are a great way for first graders to learn in a fun way side-by-side with their peers.

The materials I chose for this project will help first graders tune their fine motor, math, and ELA skills.

At the same time, they will be learning how to work cooperatively with others.

Most of the materials will be used during rainy days when students need to stay inside the classroom. The games and art collage materials will provide great opportunities for them to express themselves. Games are an opportunity to learn about teamwork, good sportsmanship, and critical thinking skills.
