Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a self-contained special education teacher, I believe having an organized, safe, comfortable and engaging space for my students is necessary for optimal learning. Many of my students require differential seating, so the comfy cushions will benefit them greatly when choosing a location in the room to read quietly, play an educational game with a partner, or to join one of our morning meetings. My students also require a lot of organization in order to keep lessons and activities running smoothly within the classroom.

My optimal goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, engaging and organized space for all my students!

I taught in Middle School for the past 8 years, so I do not yet have all the engaging resources and classroom environment materials that I believe are necessary to run a successful classroom!
