Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The Kindergarteners that I teach are bright and eager four and five year olds who crave to learn about the world around them. My students are constantly seeking answers to their questions and searching to make connections with those around them.

My students are kind and compassionate.

The students that I teach are truly remarkable. We are in a high needs area and while my students are eager we don't always have access to the resources that we need and that is where your help would be deeply appreciated. With help from DonorsChoose, we will be able to get access to resources that will take our learning to the next level.

My Project

I am asking for five Craw Daddy Costumes, five Clown Fish Ocean Animal Hats,a Party Bubble Machine, two packs of Starfish T Shirts, a Hank The Septopus Deluxe Costume, two Coral Reef Scene Setter Room Roll Wall Decorations, three Finding Dory Costumes, a Rainbow Tutu Skirt, a package of Under The Sea Creature Cutouts.

The materials will make a huge difference in the lives of my students because they will allow students to put on a performance of the text Rainbow Fish.

The costumes and props will allow the learning and the experience to really come alive for students as they are immersed in the underwater world of the tale that they will be performing. The materials will not only help us actualize our dream of putting on a performance but also help us delve deeper into a fantastic piece of literature. Ultimately, the materials would make a world of a difference to us.
