Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Currently we are sitting our students inside the cafeteria their whole lunch period when it rains instead of sending them out for recess and they have complained about being bored. It will also be too hot for them to be outside for recess soon and I needed to come up with something else to do. I made a survey of things they would like to do while inside for recess. The students came up with quite a list of board games, card games and activities!

Board games will not only keep them busy but will also be teaching them social skills.

Students will be able to learn to take turns and practice socializing with peers that they don’t usually get to interact with.
