My Students
In my 8 years of teaching second grade in the classroom I have learned that engagement is key. Every year students walk through my classroom and I feel nothing but obligation to give them the best second grade experience possible. The feeling of a classroom of students that are eager, engaged, and excited about learning is what I yearn for on a daily basis. I will always go above and beyond to ensure that type of learning for my students.
My Project
I have been quietly watching, listening, and learning from my fellow teachers throughout the parish who have adopted some of the Ron Clark methods for teaching. I have seen the motivation, and excitement that has been brought to the classroom, with both students and teachers alike. I am requesting to attend Ron Clark Academy to learn and experience this amazing opportunity for myself.
The knowledge I gain from this experience will not only provide an amazing experience for my current students, but it will provide more opportunities for the students in my future classrooms as well.
This would be a dream come true to see Ron Clark Academy in person!
