My Students

Our students are the minds of the future. Furthermore, they come to us from many different backgrounds and needs. Our school is a Title I school with many children who have additional needs outside the classroom. They come to school eager to learn and are ready for any new challenge.

Our students are energetic and ready for a challenge.

Some students come from families that prepare them with a college ready mindset in academics and some students need extra support to get them prepared and excited about future opportunities. Regardless of their families and backgrounds, I love the daily challenge to motivate and inspire them to achieve their absolute best!

My Project

Many of our students have the high energy of constant video games lurking on their screens at home. It's important that we also have highly effective, engaging science and math lessons ready for them at school. These materials will provide us with visual encouragement as we embark on the last half of the school year while giving them great study tools to use as well. We will use the colored paper and binder rings to make effective study rings that students can use on the bus, at home and in class. Students will also have a variety of science visuals they can manipulate as they study the human body. We will also use the expo markers as students practice work in their groups to write all over weather maps, math problems and science activities. We will use all the Nascar themed materials during their force and motion unit as well as a huge motivational bulletin board "Racing Into a Great Finish". We will also use the top hats to have a science vocabulary parade day, where each kid will decorate their hat to represent a different vocabulary word. We are so excited about these materials as we know it will encourage our children to excel in learning each and every day.
