My Students

Each day that is spent with our students is a day filled with excitement and rigor. Our class contains a complex mix of multicultural backgrounds, varied abilities, and smiling faces. Our students enjoy using the many technological components in our classroom.

This year we have focused on STEM education and computer science in the classroom.

The students have participated in many different STEM challenges and began to write and develop computer code. We see the gleam in their eyes when they participate in these activities. This is what learning is all about.

Our school is located in a family oriented neighborhood in Brooklyn. We are a tight knit school and we consider the children in our class to be the future of our community.

My Project

The students in my class will work extremely hard on their classwork this year. They will develop writing pieces across multiple genres throughout the year. They will explore Computer Science through coding and even write their own code sequences. Our class will identify and solve real world problems through STEM education.

I want my students to have the power to print!

I want my students to be able to print their hard work and see what their ideas look like on paper. I want to give them the ability to edit, improve and iterate their own work on paper before reaching the final product.

I have witnessed the success that comes along with the supplies that I have requested because this is my third project of this nature. When students find out that they can print their work the possibilities are endless.
