Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are an incredible group of curious, hardworking, and creative learners who always rise to the challenge. They come from diverse backgrounds, bringing unique perspectives and talents to our classroom community. Despite facing challenges, they exhibit resilience and a genuine enthusiasm for learning. They deserve every opportunity to thrive, and this project will provide them with the encouragement and recognition they need to succeed.

The items I’m requesting will serve as exciting incentives to motivate students to read and pass AR (Accelerated Reader) quizzes.

These rewards will encourage them to engage more deeply with books, improve their reading comprehension, and develop a love for learning. By linking effort and success to fun and engaging prizes, students will feel a sense of achievement, building their confidence and fostering a positive association with reading.

My primary goal is to create a classroom culture where reading is fun, rewarding, and empowering. I want students to set reading goals, work towards achieving them, and celebrate their successes. Additionally, I hope to improve their reading fluency and comprehension, while nurturing a lifelong love for books. This project aims to make reading an exciting and integral part of their educational journey.
