My Students
I teach fifth grade reading in one of the best rural schools in Oklahoma! My students are a diverse group with varied levels. Our classroom is a space where students enjoy coming to learn, but in a non-traditional way. We are a Title One school with the majority of our students receiving free lunches. These kids have the biggest hearts you'll ever come across.
Every single one of my students has integrity, compassion, and a positive attitude.
They are truly amazing people. My school is wonderfully supportive of the project-based learning that we do in our classroom. I couldn't ask for a better environment for these students. We are truly a community!
My Project
We plan to use the Epson color printer ink to create our own idiom books, poetry books, and personalized art projects, in addition to creating color task cards for learning games, reading board games, and color work station activities. Black and white is blah! We need to spice up our learning! Having resources printed in color is more appealing to the eye and more exciting to the students. These materials will provide my students an opportunity to showcase their hard work. They deserve to shine! This will give them that opportunity! My goal is to help each student become engaged in reading and writing and inspire them to continue long after they have left my classroom!
My students will be excited to use the new games and materials that we can create with the Epson Workforce Pro color printer and accessories.
When students are excited they are more likely to be engaged and enthusiastic about their learning. Having access to a color printer with ink will help me to address their ever changing abilities and tailor their learning activities for their developmental levels in a new and engaging manner. Our Brother black ink will also provide the necessary ink to keep our reports and papers printed on time!
