Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students attend a Title I-funded school and are from diverse ethnic/cultural backgrounds, namely Bangladeshi, Chinese, Hispanic, and French. Ninety-five percent of our students are Latino and African Americans. Our classes serve students who are ENL learners who require a lot of accommodations and modifications; some with a range of disabilities and abilities including intellectual disabilities, emotional disturbance, autism spectrum disorder and specific learning disabilities.

My students are an active bunch who are constantly moving.

As a result, the room tends to get a little noisy from the scratching and screeching sounds from the metal feet of chairs against the tiles. Please give my students quiet feet for their chairs to help cut down on unnecessary noise during instruction

If you donate to this project, you will be helping to smooth the transition from one activity to the next. You will also be helping those of my students who suffer from sensory overloads.
