Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of puzzle will encourage my students to think logically and systematically, as they try to figure out where pieces fit and how they relate to each other. This project will require my students to analyze, strategize, improve memory skills by recalling the overall image. Another goal is to use collaboration and working on puzzles with others can foster teamwork and communication skills that are extremely important for social and emotional growth of children. Completing a puzzle can teach children the value of perseverance and the satisfaction of achieving a goal. Every child has different needs and I feel students can use puzzle making to build on social skills when working with others, as well as individualized work space to complete alone.
