Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach at a Title I school where my students bring so much joy, curiosity, and resilience into the classroom every day. They are eager to learn, explore, and grow, but they also face challenges that can make learning more difficult. Despite these obstacles, they come to school with bright smiles and a love for learning.

This project will provide essential resources that will support their academic and emotional well-being.

A puzzle will encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration among students. Toy storage will help keep our learning environment organized, ensuring that students can easily access materials for creative and structured play. Band-aids may seem like a small item, but they provide comfort and care when students have minor scrapes, allowing them to quickly return to learning. Headphones will support individualized learning by allowing students to focus during online lessons, assessments, and literacy activities.

My goal for this project is to create a well-organized, engaging, and supportive environment where students feel safe, comfortable, and excited to learn. My students are special because they work hard every day to overcome challenges, support one another, and embrace learning in a multilingual, diverse community. These resources will help ensure they have everything they need to thrive!
