Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As Kindergarten teachers, we strive for our classrooms to be an inviting, safe, and educational space for our youngest learners. Over time our resources and materials become either worn, pieces are lost, or simply just need to be replaced. The puzzles requested will allow my students to have more options during Learning Center Time and Independent Practice, while they develop their finger strength, perseverance and problem solving skills.

For students starting their very first year of school, puzzles can help them accept challenges, overcome problems, and deal with frustrations.

My class of 24 students with a variety of school experiences will all benefit from these wonderful new resources in our shared classroom.
