Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to expose my 1st-grade students to a set of puzzles that celebrate people's differences! This set of puzzles includes a boy with a leg brace, a girl in a wheelchair, and a girl using sign language.

I believe it is extremely important to raise awareness about our different needs and abilities.

My first graders and I are also determined to have some fun this upcoming 100th day of school! This is a fun day where our school participates in making it a memorable day for our little learners.

Help me make this 100th Day of School, one they will never forget!

I am requesting 100th Day of School items. These items include glasses and crowns to decorate. We will also use the cereal and shoe laces to build necklaces by counting by 10s all the way to 100! By having these items, my students will be able to engage in a fun, unforgettable, and epic day!
