My Students

For many of us, this pandemic has thrown us into a virtual world that we had only dabbled in before, students and teachers alike. As my students and I enter into another semester of online learning I want to be able to give them the best that I can offer because I know this is not an easy time.

I teach at an all girls, Title I school in New York City.

My students are creative, energetic, and always ready to learn something new. Many of my girls may not have a technology background but we are working together to figure things out.

My Project

I am asking for a monitor to help create a better remote experience. With the monitor, I will be able to share my lessons while watching for student engagement on the monitor. It will also allow the experience to closer mirror that of the classroom where students won't have to wait until I am done presenting to ask a question or write in the chat box.

I am requesting an iPad with pen to make my lessons more exciting and to keep up what engages students today.

With the iPad I will be able to create and push out interactive planners and digital notebooks. I will also be able to draw science content while I talk about it and not just have random pictures from the internet that my students may not understand.
