My Students

This year has been quite the adventure! Who would have ever thought that Kindergarteners would be spending their year learning over the computer? Definitely not me! But as crazy as this year has been, it has truly shown the joy, resilience and excitement for learning that each of my kiddos has!

While they've only interacted with one another over the computer screen, they are a group of kids who love each other, love to learn and love to show off what they know!

They ask to be friends with each other, make cards for me, and show heart hands and expressions of celebration for each other! Even in the midst of this less than perfect year they are showing what love for one another and joy in learning can truly look like!

My Project

My kiddos have been working so hard throughout this school year and I am so proud of the progress that they've made in learning their letters and their letter sounds! They are beginning to put sounds together and tackle sight words to participate in reading along with me daily! Considering the fact that we've spent this entire year virtual, I am so incredibly proud of all that they've learned and can't wait to continue to give them the opportunity to grow!

I love that these Phonics books include both fluency activities and stories!

The fluency activities will help us to warm up, while the stories will allow us to put our skills reading those words into practice! They've been working so hard to lay the foundations of reading this year and I cannot wait to see them put their skills into practice with these books!
