My Students

My students come from a range of backgrounds, cultures and ability levels. Our school is a Title I school, and we have many English Language Learners. Many students come from a disadvantaged background.

In my classroom, I have a wide range of individual needs - from students with learning disabilities, speech and language disorders to students with Autism.

Despite these challenges, we all put forth our best efforts every day, making the most of the limited supplies we have been given!

My Project

Almost every child loves Legos. It's time to use this love to build a foundation in robotics technology! Students will use the LEGO WeDo kits to design, create and build robotic creatures that can solve real world problems and challenges.

Robotics and computer programming is the future!

I would like to expose my students to the possibilities at a young age, and give them a foundation in computer programming to build upon.

With a wide range of abilities, these kits will inspire every child to reach their full potential. Students learn to work in teams, share materials and build upon each others' ideas.
