Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are eager to learn and cannot wait to start the day. They are caring to one another and strive their hardest to perform the best way they can. The class is diverse with students from different parts of the community and are inclusive to all of the students that enter the classroom.

We need supplies to maintain the class' educational flow.

This classroom needs a fully stocked, well organized classroom library. It also needs updated technology. It will help the all of students with researching information as well as finding high interest leveled books that will suite their reading, writing and mathematical needs.

My Project

Students will be able to use the Grade 2 Classic classroom library books to enhance their reading skills by reading books that are leveled properly. They will also be able to use the Amazon Kindle Fire 7 tablets to read books online through a program called Myon which allows students the ability to choose what they like to read online. They can also go on Mathletics, another online program, that will encourage students to practice their math facts and strategies.

This year, the students will enhance their learning through new and updated products!

Being able to have access to the internet will help students to be able to understand how to use the internet to help them with projects this year and in the future. Access to a leveled library allow students to enjoy reading their favorite authors and their favorite series during reading and writing instruction.
