My Project

I would like to add this special piece of dramatic play furniture to my classroom because I think it will allow my students to broaden their creativity in our dramatic play center. With a brand new "market stall" my students will be able to practice math skills when they create orders requesting specific quantities of goods and other students have to "fill the orders." They will also be able to practice their writing skills when they create shopping lists. Language skills and social skills are always a focus in our dramatic play center because students must agree on social rules and learn to work together to reenact scenarios.

Play is the most natural way for students to learn and grow, and the more experiences we can provide, the more prepared they will be for kindergarten, and even adulthood.
