I have twenty-five amazing first graders who are energetic, enthusiastic, motivated, and of course unique and special. My students like to move, twist, stand, sit, and, most importantly, learn. My students have lots of movement opportunities throughout the school day and mostly learn in stations. My students are in an urban community, and all students receive free lunch and breakfast. The students in my classroom range from regular education to ESL to special education. My high expectations and drive bring me to this project for my students.
My Project
Help me give my students a classroom air purifier for our classroom. This will help to keep our classroom air cleaner and purified especially during this pandemic. As a classroom teacher keeping my students and staff working in my classroom is my priority. This will help to keep allergens from outside air purified since we want to keep our classroom windows open. It will be difficult to have students learn if they are dealing with allergens. My hope is to have my students as comfortable as possible in an uncomfortable situation. Thank you for supporting my students!
