My Project

My students have access to a puppet stage and partner plays that align with all phonics skills and are grounded in the Science of Reading. These plays offer a joyful and interactive way for students to build reading confidence while applying foundational literacy concepts. We have everything we need for the perfect puppet partner play—all we’re missing are the puppets. That’s why I’m reaching out to donors like you to help provide us with the missing link: puppets.

Animal puppets, multicultural puppets, and student-created puppets will provide engaging partner play practice, helping students build confidence and fluency in reading comprehension.

Students will use these puppets daily to practice, learn, and apply new phonics skills, explore story elements, and reinforce sight words. Through daily puppet activities, students will also enhance their voice fluctuation, increase fluency, and master key story elements.
