Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The specific items I am requesting makes a terrific difference in speaking a foreign language. Students in general are shy speaking in front of their peers. The puppets themselves bring smile, curiosity and interest to students, especially teenagers. Puppets encourage students to engage with the learning activities. The food trays will be used for popcorns during a puppet show.

The puppets will be used with a theater set to promote dialogues that teenagers have created amount their groups.

The students will compare and contraste each small dialogue that their peers have produced. Puppets will have a positive impact on students' participation in the classroom.

Furthermore, puppets can create great atmosphere in the classroom. students who are generally shy really benefit from the opportunity to let the puppets be their voice. Puppets can help shy students to be comfortable speaking in front of the class because the puppet is answering, not them. Teenagers, through the puppets will be able to build their language skills.

Unique personality can be performed and create an atmosphere of camaraderie, suspense or ennemie, which unable students to participate in creative play. Puppets promote emotional growth, enhance active listening, strengthen motor skills, increase self confidence, and stimulate creativity. Puppets bring stories to life and make them more entertaining.
