My Students

Our students need supplies for loading electrophoresis gels.

As a tenured high school teacher I like to prepare all my students for a better future.

We have many great students that lots of talents in many fields. Getting them the education to better prepare my students for STEM fields at the top, middle and lower levels of the work force. Top level engineers are equally important as the lower level of the actual constructors and the mid-level planners that include finances.

Giving my students a chance to learn the basic necessities and communication skills to work through projects they may get involved in in everyday life helps them feel the buy in to the value of a good education.

I feel all our students are equally important therefore I would like give them all in formation and experiences to help them choose their future career .

My Project

The use of these pipettors will help enhance the tools my students will need in many of the STEM careers they choose to enter. Pipettors are used to measure and dispense small quantities of sample of a variety of samples such as DNA, proteins and a variety of chemical samples either found or created in an engineering environment.

These pipettors will be perfect in loading electrophoresis gels.

Electrophoresis is the process of separating small amounts of material through a gel based on electrical charge, shape and mass. Many areas of science use electrophoresis such as: biomedical research & engineering, chemical engineering, forensics and many others.

Hands on experience with tools most students don't see until college. Many don't use them until they are in a Masters program.
