My Project

The pandemic has been very difficult for my students. Many are missing or need to strengthen current math skills in order to be successful in 5th grade. My goal is to provide extra support through the use of these math manipulatives to help gain those skills. In 5th grade, fractions and place value are essential math standards. Multiplication facts are not easily recalled. The manipulatives I have chosen, the Math in a Flash Discovery Cans will provide materials to cover both fourth grade skills that students need to master and fifth grade essential math standards that continue to build after mastery of fourth grade essential math standards.
