My Project

Puberty is a challenging journey for young people. It is even harder when you don't have the necessary feminine hygiene products at home to help support you when you get your monthly cycle.

The feminine pads will be used to make kits that girls can use at school when they have their period.

The 'Moon Within,' is a beautiful book that the girls will be reading together as the subject deals with menstruation and the different changes that happen during puberty.

These starter kits will make it easier for my students to be prepared for their periods. and to also know what supplies they need to have each month so that they are not caught off guard. I want to help make my students feel as if the natural changes to their bodies are something they can accept and be ready for.
