My Project

The environmental science and gardening program at PS 84 in Manhattan provides students from Pre-K-5 grades the opportunity to learn about and grow healthy food in a 4000sq ft rooftop garden classroom. Our program runs year-round with indoor and outdoor classes on everything from geography, insects, biodiversity and variety in nature, nutrition, sustainability, and an array of other academic connections to learning.

We are looking to fund outdoor learning media tools to provide visual aid to our studies in ecology.

An outdoor grade, wireless projector, and screen would benefit our students' understanding of the connection between living things in our environment.
