My Project

For many of our special needs students, traditional classroom environments can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. These students greatly benefit from having a dedicated soft and safe space tailored to their needs. These areas provide opportunities for exploration, play, and activities that promote both learning and social interaction, all while minimizing the risk of injury or discomfort. Offering sensory resources such as flexible seating, different lighting, or calming corners helps students manage overwhelming stimuli, creating a more supportive learning environment. The swivel chair, floor mats, Amazon Fire tablet, and other items will contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment, enabling students to engage more actively in learning and development while enhancing their focus and participation.
