Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a High School Inclusion Teacher, I work with a diverse group of students, including those with special needs, many of whom are from low-income, inner-city backgrounds. For these students, access to basic hygiene products is often limited, and this lack of resources can negatively impact their self-esteem, emotional well-being, and ability to focus in class.

This project seeks to provide students with the essential hygiene products they need to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to succeed.

Items like deodorant, soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and sanitary products are not just about cleanliness—they are about helping students, especially those with special needs, maintain their dignity and feel supported in their school environment.

By providing these basic necessities, we can ensure that all students, regardless of their financial situation or personal challenges, have the opportunity to engage in their education without distractions. Your generous support will help create a more inclusive, positive environment where every student feels valued, confident, and empowered.
