This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Graphic novels are the perfect books to help reluctant readers and English language learners find a love and a joy in reading. The pictures help reluctant readers to not find the text to be overwhelming, and they help students who are learning English better comprehend the words they might not yet know. Graphic novels are a class favorite, and I can not keep them on the shelves! Your donation will provide our class with several more graphic novels so that students never want to stop reading, imagining, and growing. Together we can create life-long readers.
