Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are eager to learn and are full of curiosity. They enjoy learning about others and their cultures. To help them learn and share their Hispanic/Latino pride, see themselves in books, and connect with similar traditions, I have made a list of Hispanic/Latino picture books for them to read.

We will read, make connections, and have rich discussions about what it means to them to be part of such a unique, hardworking, and lovable culture.

We will also be sharing our stories with our community, hoping they will connect with the stories.
