Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the best students in the world.

They are creative, persevering and demonstrate social responsibility.

They are also extremely excited to come back to the classroom after learning from home for almost six months due to the pandemic.

My Project

These materials will help me provide students with a comfortable and safe learning environment. The HEPA filter, face masks, wipes and hand sanitizers will help keep students safe from contracting the virus while learning in person. Currently, my students need to wear their coats, gloves and hats while in the classroom because our only source of ventilation is having the windows open. As the temperatures continue dropping, it will be impossible for students to focus and learn under such circumstances. These materials will help us stay safe and keep transmission rates low, thus helping to maintain our schools open.
