Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am an ESL teacher at JSE; I teach English Language Learners, in a community that is home to many immigrant and refugee students. Students use headphones during intervention time, twice daily. These headphones will ensure that students are able to properly hear their personalized lessons. The cords are also tangle-proof, which will prevent them from being broken.

By donating to our project, you will improve student achievement in reading and math, and ensure students are using headphones that are safe for young ears.

The cable organizers will assist students with keeping their tablets charged. Currently, the cords get tangled and students struggle to find the charger that goes with their iPad. These will make this process much more seamless and will ensure every student has the materials they need to be successful each day.
