My Students

Our school is located in Camden, NJ.

It is a charter school where my students get in through a lottery. I like to think that's why they appreciate being in our school. My students are third graders who are excited about learning and the use of technology in their learning. They love exploring on their own and are learning to be more independent.

My Project

We're lucky enough to have iPads in our classroom that were previously funded through donorschoose.org. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get protective cases for these iPads. Two of my students have already dropped our iPads this year. We were extremely lucky that they didn't break, but we're afraid the next time will be the last. My students need 5 protective cases for the classroom iPads. These protective cases will ensure that we'll be able to use the iPads for years to come!

IPads play a very important role in my students' learning.

My students are using them every single day, getting practice in math and literacy. They use them to practice their cursive writing and for many other things. They've become such an important part of their learning. We want to protect them to make sure we can always enjoy them and continue to use them to aid in learning.
