Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are unique. They have so many interesting and different ways of thinking and arriving at answers. However, it can be a challenge to efficiently share ideas with the entire class without using overused online tools.

A document camera and projector allow students to instantly project their writing, drawings, representations, equations, and strategies to the entire class at once!

Students feel proud showing their work and their classmates love learning from their peers! I have come to rely on my current projector and document camera for my 4th-grade students to read maps, critique one another's writing, analyze authors' techniques and share mathematical strategies and representations. However, my current projector overheats and turns off, while my document camera no longer shows color well and blurs images. I look forward to having new equipment so we can properly view my students' brilliant ideas!
