My Project

Hello! My name is Courtney and I am a teacher of the visually impaired. All of my students have a visual impairment and often have other disabilities as well. Students with visual impairments require extra support in areas such as sensory input, independent living skills, braille, and compensatory support.

These items will have a huge impact on my students!

Flexible seating will support them in learning while providing sensory input. Tactile books help my students access books through touch. I will be able to use all of the light up materials to help with visual efficiency skills.
