My Project

We are trying to beautify our classroom and hallways with posters that promote positivity around mental health and positive self image. We want our school to be a beacon of positivity for the students and staff as well. Students are creating posters that offer messages of positivity around mental health, body positivity and gender identity.

Students are very visual and look for bright colors and graphics that grab their attention.

We want to offer not just positive messages but info about resources and teachers who can help in certain situations. We have heard from our students that threy rarely read posters that are boring or seem mass generated, they definitely pay more attention to things created by their peers in a style they have more of a connection to.
