This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My second grade students are excited to start the school year! As we return back to school and return to some normalcy students will have more opportunities to work in small groups and literacy centers!
I would love to provide my students with the opportunity to engage in literacy games, such as sight words, blends, fluency and comprehension stations to support their reading and writing skills.
These literacy and writing centers will facilitate differentiated instruction to target students specific needs. For example, students can focus on developing reading fluency or learning to read sight words and creating sentences with those sight words.
