My Project

Our school has a new Environmental Sciences club that will bring environmental awareness to all students with an emphasis on marginalized groups such as people of color and females. This club will also work to motivate and inspire students to become informed and active citizens. Our goal is to develop student agency in sustainability in and around their community.

We plan to use the materials to make posters, displays, and stickers to to hand out to the students at our school, our school families, and our neighboring businesses.

We also plan on making reusable totes with designs that will promote SDG awareness. We will make stickers that showcase worthwhile environmental issues. Many of our projects will require using the Cricut machines and supplies. I am asking for supplies and tools to use with the Cricut machines. We will strive to improve student awareness, and help them become efficient digital/global citizens by sharing information and passion for global awareness and issues with their community.

Our club will raise awareness of real-world issues using critical thinking skills to develop sustainable solutions, foster community involvement, and promote environmentally responsible behaviors. Students will gain a deeper understanding of sustainable practices and foster a sense of responsibility and empowerment to make positive changes in the community.
