This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The tools requested in this project will promote learning through play as well as promote organization for my students. Learning through play is scientifically proven to help students, especially those with disabilities, to make connections to new information presented to them. Many times, play can provide students with a multi-sensory opportunity to access information. Organizing these materials on a storage cart and in folders will help myself and students access the tools more easily and more frequently. More importantly, many of my student do not have access to toys in their homes so we would like to provide them with a classroom that is full of care and full of fun.
