it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are persisting in the challenge of learning from home. They are resilient and optimistic about the future. They have powerful voices and deep, thoughtful questions.

Our schools seeks to provide an inclusive place for students to take risks, feed their natural curiosity, and really love learning. My Project
Our brilliant students have many advantages, including enthusiasm for learning, grit and dedication when things get tough, and strong voices to speak their minds. Many of our students do not have the advantage of funds to purchase books for their own home libraries.
For those of us who have experienced the joy of browsing a bookstore's shelves or picking a book to purchase at a book fair, we know the magic of a new book.
This is an experience I want to bring to all the students at my school, so they can browse the shelves of our "bookshop" and choose the book that calls out to them. They can take it home and read it again and again. They can pass it on to siblings when they're done. I've selected high interest books sets ranging in age from Pre-K to 6th grade so everyone can find their next great read!
