My Students

Our day is filled with much discussion and activity. I would love for all of my children to be at grade level by the end of the year, however, many of them don't have access to the things outside of school that would help reinforce skills. They have big things going on in their little lives.

My school is inner-city and is in the highest poverty category.

My classroom is filled with children who all add something wonderful to our class and are each special in their own way. They learn in different ways, and most are English Language Learners who require many visuals and hands-on activities along the way of learning.

My Project

With an Epson projector and presentation cart I will be able to teach an interactive math lesson for the whole class. It will also allow us to watch whole group educational videos through Discovery Ed. That goes along with our Science and Social Studies themes. These will be great visual activities which will benefit all of my students.

Lessons done through the projector allow the children to gain a great math visual.

It will also teach the children how to utilize our new math program through our computer lab and, if possible, at home. The videos offered by Discovery Ed. will help the children get a clear visual and better understanding of science and social studies curriculum.
