My students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds. We are comprised primarily of military families, and English Language Learners. Students in our school are ethnically and culturally diverse, speaking a multitude of languages, and coming into our school with a variety of learning abilities.
Due to our diverse population and military families, students move frequently and enter and exit at various times through the school year.
Our classroom is looking to become a class full of 21st century learners who use technology and hands-on experiments where learning is not taught by lectures, but by student exploration.
My Project
Our classroom is very technological and we are tired of wires slowing us down, making us stationary, and taking up space! Help us become free and wireless!
By using this Apple TV students and teachers will be able to showcase their work from anywhere around the classroom.
Books will be projected as well as student based projects created using Google apps. Having an Apple TV means being wireless, which frees up the teacher to move more around the busy classroom and not have to be stationary (stuck in front of the computer in the front of the room). The Apple TV also allows student to work from various locations around the room and project their projects, creations, art, work samples, and much more without having to leave their small groups or their working area.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
