Projection Project for PE Class

Help me give my students do fun fitness videos and being able to show them what we are doing in class by projecting them onto a screen. My gym doesn't have a smartboard, so this is the option.

My Students

My students are full of energy, excited to learn, engaged in school, and love to be active. They all come from families that live in poverty and struggle to come to school with adequate supplies. My students love Physical Education class and love learning new sports. I see the excitement in their eyes when they grasp new skills and concepts. They feel accomplished when they are successful. They love competition and teamwork to help build healthy relationships with their fellow classmates.

My Project

Many of my students are visual learners. My current projector is not working that great. It is on its last legs and I want to replace it. I've been projecting on the wall and would love to have a higher-quality projector and screen for more mobility. I need the projector and screen to use for various learning activities in Phys Ed. It will primarily be used to show fitness activities/workouts that the students can participate in. It will also be used to project objectives, our WHAT, WHY, and HOW for the daily activity. I want my students to have the best time when they are in PE. Making it fun and exciting with video will be taking it to another level.

Knowledge about fitness and physical activity is also important.

I will use this project to assess my students, find out their emotional status, understanding of activity as well as how well they perform. Social and Emotional Learning is a big part of our school's climate this year. Hoping this will build up my students and make them excited about coming to school.

Ultimately I am hoping this project will lead to a bigger project where I get Heart Rate monitors. The Heart Rates of the students will be projected on the screen. This will help to keep students in a healthy Heart Rate Zone!
