I am a 2nd grade teacher. I teach all subjects including Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading and Writing. Essentially it means I teach every subject there is! Our school is located in a very high need area. More than 75% of our students require free lunches. We are constantly in need of various supplies to keep the students updated in terms of technology and to keep them interested in lessons and subjects.

Our students always need more motivation and exposure to different types of technology. The overhead projector is a technology that is desperately needed in our classroom. This would keep the lessons interesting for the students.

As teachers, we are constantly looking for ways to keep our students interested in all subject areas and to incorporate technology into the classroom. Using a projector always keeps the students interested and involved especially in terms of Writing and Math. In addition, we would use this projector to demonstrate various ideas and keep the students' focus.

Your help will ensure that my students will get exposure to different types of technology. It will also help them keep their focus on different subject areas. My students love to have different types of lessons. This projector will help in this endeavor.
