Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Imagine being able to "see" the curriculum come alive right before your eyes! This projector would help ensure greater equity in students' access to technology.

My students are English Language Learners in a K-8 public school, where more than 50% of students speak a language other than English at home.

Our classroom focuses on student centered and highly creative learning experiences where kids are both supported and challenged.

My Project

My English Language Learners are held to high expectations and expected to learn language quickly so they can access other content instruction with their grade level peers. My students need a working projector, Ipad, and printer ink, in order to bring the world into our classroom. Through engaging media, they will be able to see the curriculum. This iPad tablet will help us pull up images through the use of the Internet. It will also be used to begin building on word processing and presentation skills. All of this will be projected by using the requested LCD projector.

Using today's technology, I will be able to engage all of my students in everyday classroom lessons.

Students will also be moving towards taking assessments using technology, so these devices will be helpful in making sure they are better prepared.
