Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach a group of 22 fifth grade inquisitive, motivated and talented students. These students participate and excel in the Cambridge program offered at our school. My students come from many different economic backgrounds and have working parents that sometimes cannot offer much assistance at home. Our school is a Title I school and 90% of my class have free or reduced lunch.

In a society where technology is a big part of our young population, we must look for ways to motivate our young minds in learning though the use of hands-on inquiry.

This amazing group of students love to learn!

My Project

During these difficult times we are facing, students need to continue to follow their learning path. We must show them that even though we face difficult situations, we can make adjustments and move on!

Learning must go on and it must be relevant to all students!

By donating to my class you will help my students acquire the concepts needed in their specific grade. All of my students will benefit from a document camera especially during online classes. I can use this document camera in order to project important information that can only be found in physical books or guides that I already own. A class laminator will also be very beneficial because I can laminate guides and they can be cleaned and reuse safely once we can go back to the regular schoolhouse model.
