My Students

I am always trying to better teach my students who represent an array of learning styles and needs. They are an incredible group of kids who are inquisitive and excited to take on new topics in the classroom. It is my goal to create an environment that fosters learning so that we can better achieve STEAM standards.

I teach a diverse range of fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.

I have students who require remediation as well as those who need enrichment. My students are incredibly motivated in their learning, especially in art and technology. As a seasoned art teacher, it is my goal to foster an appreciation for artistic inquiry while relating science and technology to the diverse lives of my students.

My Project

Digital art creation is already taking the 2021 art world by storm, especially since the beginning of the pandemic. It allows artwork to be stored on a digital device, it is easier for artists to share their work in its highest form.

Learning how to create digital art work with an iPad and an Apple Pencil will allow the 21st century art students to to learn new art making skills, shared art digitally on websites and through social media, to family and friends and even on Virtual bulletin boards instantly.

However, we also need a way to house and present this work to share with our classmates and families. This case, pen holder, and remote control will give student the power to take charge of their education using the tools you will so generously help us procure.
